Yeovil, Somerset, United Kingdom Barchester Healthcare Full time
About the Role

At Barchester Healthcare, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Care Manager to join our team as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical). As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a crucial role in managing and developing our care teams across various locations, ensuring that we deliver exceptional care and service to our residents.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the implementation of action plans that meet the needs of our residents, working closely with our General Managers or hiring managers. You'll also take on leadership duties in the absence of the General Manager, overseeing everything from care standards to motivating your team. Your expertise will inspire a multidisciplinary team to ensure every resident enjoys the best possible quality of life.

You'll lead by example, monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and checking our regulatory compliance. To achieve this, you'll set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies that align with our goals.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Previous experience working within a nursing home setting is essential, as is evidence of continual professional development. It's also important that you have experience in helping residents with different health needs, managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. Additionally, some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, and an understanding of budget management would be beneficial. You should also have a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. We're looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment. Due to the nature of this role, you must be flexible and willing to travel.

Estimated Salary

£45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Benefits

We offer a competitive rewards package that includes:

  1. Free learning and development opportunities
  2. A range of holiday, retail, and leisure discounts
  3. Nurse Mentor and Refer a Friend bonus schemes
  4. An offer to pay Tier 2 visa application fee for eligible nurses

If you're passionate about delivering high-quality care and have the skills and experience required for this role, we'd love to hear from you
