Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Global Market Surveillance Compliance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing compliance and regulatory risk through the development and oversight of market abuse surveillance controls.

About the Role
Daily responsibilities include reviewing surveillance reports and interacting with Line of Business Compliance and the business to determine whether an exception can be closed or requires further escalation. You will also work closely with various internal teams to ensure relevant risk factors are continuously updated and monitored in the Market Abuse Risk Assessment (MARA).

Responsibilities and Deliverables
You will lead regional coordination of the MARA and help prioritize areas where there is a need to improve a control rating. You will also assist with regulatory examinations/inspections and participate in periodic risk assessments and control design/performance rating exercises.

Requirements and Qualifications
This role requires experience in a previous role in Compliance, Surveillance, Internal Audit or other control function. A sales/trading and/or regulatory background would be highly regarded. You should also have a working knowledge of securities markets, businesses, products and familiarity with conducting risk assessments, preferably in the context of market abuse.

Estimated Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is $160,000 - $240,000 depending on experience and location.
