Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs Assistant to join our team in Wantage. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children with special educational needs and make a positive impact on their lives.

The ideal candidate will have a caring and patient approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification or 3 years of experience in an EYFS or KS1/KS2 setting is desirable but not essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £££ (approximately) for this full-time position, working 8:30 am to 3:15 pm, Monday to Friday. As a member of our team, you will receive ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career prospects.

This role requires:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification, at level 2 or above
