Job Overview

A world leading manufacturer of hydraulic components is seeking an experienced sales professional to lead the growth of their industrial hydraulics market. As a Senior Hydraulic Sales Professional, you will be responsible for mapping out and segmenting this market, taking full ownership of its development.

This is a home-based role that requires regular customer visits throughout the sales region, with one day spent working from your home office and four days focused on developing and managing customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong network of customers who buy hydraulic components, as well as a mechanical engineering background and a proven track record of business-to-business sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop a strong network of industrial OEMs and distributors across the UK
  • Map out and segment the industrial hydraulics market
  • Take full responsibility for growing this market
  • Develop and manage key accounts
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Requirements:

  • External sales experience from an associated sector (i.e., hydraulics, pumps, valves, fluid dynamics)
  • Mechanical Engineering Components background
  • Strong strategic thinker with exceptional ability to develop relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate and sell to a wide variety of levels
  • Proven track record of business-to-business sales

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £45,000 and £70,000 basic salary, dependent on experience, with an additional bonus potential of up to £20,000, resulting in an estimated total earnings potential of £85,000+.
