This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-focused Site Operations Assistant to join our client's team in Oxfordshire. As a key member of the site operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of laboratory facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and store consumables and chemicals in accordance with company regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of COSHH Risk Assessments to guarantee adherence to safety protocols.
  • Support health and safety inspections and procedures in collaboration with the Site Operations Manager.
  • Ensure lab spaces are maintained in a clean, safe, and functional manner.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and manage maintenance records to prevent downtime.
  • Take responsibility for Liquid Nitrogen and cylinder levels, assisting with decanting and stock management.
  • Foster strong relationships internally and externally to facilitate efficient site operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a lab technician or equivalent in a life science setting.
  • In-depth understanding of chemicals and solvents used in R&D environments.
  • Excellent numeracy and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt flexibly within a team.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and willingness to learn new tools.
