Laboratory Assistant (Wet Lab & Material Science) Li-ion Battery Cell (Applied Research)

What you’ll do…

You will support the synthesis, preparation, and testing of Li-ion battery materials. This role focuses on working with advanced materials in a wet environment, ensuring proper preparation and handling of materials for research and cell development.

  • Prepare and handle materials for anode, cathode, and electrolyte formulations within the wet lab, ensuring accurate composition and quality control.
  • Conduct material synthesis, including mixing, coating, and casting processes, for battery components.
  • Safely handle chemicals and materials in the wet lab environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Work closely with material scientists and chemists to support the development of new materials for Li-ion cells.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in the wet lab, ensuring they are properly calibrated and functional for experiments.

What you’ll bring…

  • Experience in material preparation, mixing, and synthesis in a wet lab environment, especially related to battery materials.
  • Familiarity with wet lab safety procedures, chemical handling, and waste disposal.
  • Ability to accurately prepare materials and follow experimental protocols.
  • Proficient in managing supplies and maintaining an organized wet lab environment.
