This role involves leading the development of digital pathology projects at Deciphex, where you will leverage your expertise in digital pathology to drive innovation. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will oversee junior staff members and assist the Laboratory Manager in ensuring seamless laboratory operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sections of the laboratory, supervising junior staff, and guaranteeing timely delivery of laboratory targets. Key tasks include developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and competency training documents in accordance with regulatory standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of sample collection, transportation, and storage conditions.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Develop and validate new laboratory methods and procedures as needed, adhering to industry best practices and standards.

You will engage in research activities to enhance diagnostic techniques, including sample preparation for AI projects. Adherence to strict safety protocols is mandatory to protect laboratory personnel and patients.

A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus benefits such as annual leave and career growth opportunities are offered to the successful candidate.
