About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Precision Psychiatry Lab Assistant to join our team in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital. The successful candidate will work on a Wellcome-funded project, supporting the development and implementation of an evidence synthesis program of living systematic reviews about early phase studies in depression, anxiety, and psychosis.

The role is full-time (consideration would be given to candidates wishing to work part-time) and is funded until 31 January 2026. You will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary group of researchers, clinicians, statisticians, and methodologists who are passionate about improving the lives of people with mental illness across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of evidence synthesis projects using living systematic reviews
  • Assist researchers and clinicians with developing research proposals and protocols
  • Help analyze and interpret data from various study designs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area (biomedical science, experimental psychology)
  • Good understanding of PICO/PECO and other adaptations across different study designs
  • Prior experience with large evidence synthesis projects of human and non-human studies
