Business Development Manager

Hull City Council is seeking a highly motivated and sales-oriented Engagement Lead to promote the service offered by Hull Training and Adult Education to employers and potential learners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for raising awareness and understanding of the benefits of Apprenticeships and associated training opportunities, including Skills Bootcamps and Adult Education, from Entry Level to level 5.
Key responsibilities will include supporting employers with funding opportunities and training needs analysis, as well as producing contractual documentation between the Employer, Apprentice, and Hull Training and Adult Education, and the ESFA/DFE.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth industry knowledge, including current Government apprenticeship legislation, and be aware of Local Labour Market Information and the city's improvement plan.
They will also possess vocationally competent and qualified skills, including an NVQ3 standard, an appropriate qualification, and a current IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
Excellent networking and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
