Emergency Social Worker

**Job Summary:**
We are looking for an experienced social worker to join our emergency duty service team. As an EDS worker, you will provide urgent care services to children and families in need outside office hours.
**Key Responsibilities:
- To assess and prioritize service requests, arranging assessments or passing onto day teams as necessary.
- To provide social work assessments and emergency support until the next working day when daytime services take over.
- To travel to various locations throughout the Kirklees area for assessments and visits.
- To maintain accurate and timely case recording using IT systems.
**Requirements:
- Social Work qualification and HCPC registration.
- Significant experience of working with children, young people, and their carers.
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation and ability to apply it to practice.
- Able to transfer knowledge and skills into new situations.
- Valid driving license and access to a car.
**Salary and Benefits:
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including a comprehensive training program and a supportive work environment.
