Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Team Lead to join our team at Entrust Social Care Ltd. As a Mental Health Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of social workers, overseeing the assessment and management of complex mental health cases, and ensuring that all care plans are developed and implemented in accordance with best practice standards.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Qualified Social Worker in an adult social work setting, with a strong understanding of statutory responsibilities, including the Care Act and safeguarding vulnerable adults and children. They will also possess excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide their team to deliver high-quality care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of social workers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Oversee the assessment and management of complex mental health cases, ensuring that all care plans are developed and implemented in accordance with best practice standards
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with other professionals, including GPs, hospital staff, and community agencies, to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements:
  • DipSW or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the HCPC
  • CURRENT DBS
  • Full UK driving license

Salary Range: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
