The EDS primary role involves assessing mental health emergencies, providing housing support, safeguarding, and collaborating with the police in domestic violence and crisis situations. Your expertise will ensure individual needs are supported, risks are managed proportionately, and safeguarding remains paramount.

To excel in this position, you must possess a working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act (1983), Mental Capacity Act (2005), Care Act (2014), Human Rights Act (1998), and SEND Legislation. Additionally, you should hold a Social Work England recognised qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
