Central Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join its team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director to deliver the company's accounting processes, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. Key responsibilities will include maintaining and checking office and client ledgers, performing bank reconciliations, and reconciling bank statements and petty cash against invoices. In addition, the ideal candidate will be confident in liaising with colleagues and third parties both in person and by telephone, and able to maintain the confidentiality and security of the company's financial data. This role requires a high level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and bank statements
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile bank statements and petty cash against invoices
  • Work with the HR Director and external accountants to process staff salaries and other financial transactions
  • Maintain internal controls, including filing and record-keeping
  • Provide financial reports and analysis to management as required

Salary: £35,000 per annum
