About the Role

Mental Health Liaison Specialists are needed for a brand new Mental Health Liaison Service at Skegness Urgent Treatment Centre.

Job Description

This pilot Service is being created to support LCHS at Skegness Urgent Treatment Centre with patients with mental health needs for an initial period of 6 months, with the possibility of extending if the service is successful.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.
  • To assess and manage risk, and make autonomous decisions based on complex presenting problems and available options.
  • To develop and implement individualised care plans that address the physical and mental health needs of patients.
  • To work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Requirements

We require suitably qualified and experienced Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Social Workers who have at least 2 years' experience working with people with mental health needs, especially dementia and older adults.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, generous annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
