Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with patients, staff, and external partners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, handling phone calls, and responding to emails.
  • Process patient appointments, visits, and telephone consultations, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and minimize wait times.
  • Process and distribute mail, maintain accurate records, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring optimal patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • GCSE award or modern equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • Diligent working in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Qualifications

  • Qualification in administration
  • Previous GP reception experience
