About the Role
Hampton Medical Centre is seeking a skilled and organized Receptionist to join their team. As a key member of the practice administration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the practice appointments system, ensuring efficient and effective scheduling.
- Process personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits, and telephone consultations.
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Provide administrative support to the practice team, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Maintain the reception area, notice-boards, and leaflet dispensers, ensuring a clean and tidy environment.
Person Specification
Essential qualifications include GCSEs or modern equivalent, excellent customer service skills, and excellent timekeeping. Desirable qualifications include a qualification in administration and previous GP reception experience.
