Oncology Patient Coordinator

The North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Patient Tracker. This role will be pivotal to the smooth running of the patient pathway across our two sites, ensuring all patients are seen and treated in a timely manner.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will be responsible for the proactive management of patients receiving Systematic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) treatment in the Haematology/Oncology Units. This will involve monitoring, reporting, and tracking patients to ensure their journey is progressed in a timely and efficient manner, in line with National Cancer Waiting Times Targets and in the best interests of the patient.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. As a Patient Tracker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the patient pathway, working closely with staff at all levels to achieve this goal.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, both written and oral, who is able to relate to people at all levels. You will need to be self-motivated, well-organised, and able to take responsibility for your own work. A team player with a commitment to team objectives and the ability to challenge respectfully is essential.
