Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Receptionist to join our dynamic team. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for patients, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the practice team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the practice appointments system, ensuring efficient scheduling and communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Process personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits, and telephone consultations, providing accurate information and support to patients.
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to practice protocols.
  • Provide clerical assistance to practice staff, including data entry, filing, and photocopying, as required.
  • Initiate contact with patients, other team members, and healthcare agencies, responding to requests and providing timely information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive and professional environment for patients and staff.

Person Specification

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess a GCSE award or modern equivalent and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
