Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Seaham Hall, a prestigious resort in County Durham. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests in our award-winning restaurant, The Dining Room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests during meals, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist in the general cleaning and maintenance of the dining area, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Upsell menu items and drinks to enhance revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Attend training sessions to gain a comprehensive understanding of our menu and be able to offer expert recommendations to guests.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospitality or food and beverage role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of service delivery.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft systems and Simphony EPOS.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays, and be available for shift work.
