Job Title: Food and Beverage Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Seaham Hall, a 5-star hotel in County Durham. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to our guests in the dining room.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive service to guests during meals
  • Assist with general cleaning of the dining area
  • Upsell desserts, starters, and drinks to guests
  • Attend work consistently well-groomed and in uniform
  • Be willing to attend training and gain an understanding of the menu to offer guidance and recommendations to guests

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training will be provided
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered consistently
  • Knowledge of Simphony/Oracle software is advantageous
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, team members, and guests in a professional manner
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker
  • Due to location and shifts, transport is essential
