Role: Food and Beverage Assistant

Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham

Resort Information:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Food and Beverage team at Seaham Hall. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests and contributing to the success of our resort.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive service to guests during meals, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist in the general cleaning of working areas, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Upsell desserts, starters, drinks, and other menu items to enhance the guest experience.
  • Attend work consistently well-groomed, in uniform, and be willing to attend training to gain an understanding of the menu and offer guidance and recommendations to guests.
  • Interact with management, team members, and guests in a professional manner, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role required – restaurant/bar/reception.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered consistently.
  • Knowledge of Simphony software is advantageous.
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, team members, and guests in a professional manner.
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker.
  • Must have transport.
