Role: Food and Beverage Service Associate

Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham

Resort Information:

Salary: Up to £12 per hour, to be discussed at interview plus a share of service charge, approx. £2k a year for full time

Hours: Full and Part Time available, including weekends and bank holidays.

Relationships: General Manager, Kitchen team, Food and Beverage team

We are seeking a friendly, trustworthy, and motivated individual to join our team in The Dining Room as a Food and Beverage Service Associate. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a 5-star standard of service is delivered consistently.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, with full training provided
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure a 5-star standard of service is delivered consistently
  • Knowledge of Simphony/Oracle software is advantageous
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, team members, and guests in a professional manner
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker
  • Due to location and shifts, transport is essential

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive service during meals and watch for special requests
  • Assist in the general cleaning of working areas
  • Take every opportunity to upsell – desserts, starters, drinks, etc.
  • Attend work consistently well-groomed, in uniform
  • Be willing to attend training and gain an understanding of the menu to offer guidance and recommendations to guests
