Relationships: General Manager, Kitchen team, Food and Beverage team

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests in the 'Dining Room' Restaurant.

**Transport is essential due to the location and shift patterns**

The ideal candidate

  • Previous hospitality experience (bar/restaurant) - minimum 2 years
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure a 5-star standard of service is delivered
  • Computer literate and a good knowledge of Microsoft systems and Simphony EPOS system
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, staff, and guests in a professional manner
  • Team player and individual worker
  • Well-presented and representing a high standard of competence at all times
  • Must have transport due to start of shift times and location of hotel

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive service during meals and watch for special requests
  • Assist in the general cleaning of working areas
  • Take every opportunity to upsell - desserts, starters, drinks, etc.
  • Attend work consistently well-groomed, in uniform
  • Be willing to attend training and gain an understanding of the menu to offer guidance and recommendations to guests
