We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Transformation Unit, responsible for leading the Obstetric Ultrasound service across all sites of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the Obstetric Ultrasound service to deliver high-quality patient-focused care, working closely with the Ultrasound Service Manager and Directorate Managers.
- Develop and implement Quality Improvement projects and programmes to drive excellence in patient care.
- Ensure key performance targets are met, working collaboratively with the management team.
- Review and improve ultrasound services to achieve a sustainable and profitable state, while maintaining patient-centered care.
- Provide operational leadership to the ultrasound department, driving operational excellence and supporting the delivery of a High-Performance Management System.
- Manage resources effectively, including developing robust recovery planning to address deviations.
- Develop shared objectives to promote a culture of collaborative working and empower staff to achieve performance and transformational change.
- Demonstrate excellent people management skills to inspire and motivate staff, enabling the delivery and improvement of services.
- Post Graduate Masters/Diploma/Certificate In Medical Ultrasound or equivalent qualification.
- BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or Midwifery or equivalent qualification.
- Valid HCPC registration or equivalent.
- MSc in Imaging/Ultrasound or equivalent.
- Society of Radiographers (SOR) or equivalent registration.
The successful candidate will have evidence of continuing professional development, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and previous supervisory/management experience. They will also have multi-modality knowledge and be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
