Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Obstetric Ultrasound team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-quality obstetric ultrasound services across our sites in Oldham and Rochdale.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the clinical and managerial aspects of the obstetric ultrasound service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-focused care.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement projects and programs to enhance patient care and service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the Ultrasound Service Manager and Directorate Managers to ensure key performance targets are met.
  • Continuously review and improve ultrasound services to achieve a sustainable and profitable state while maintaining effective patient-centered care.
  • Provide operational leadership to the ultrasound department, driving operational excellence and supporting the delivery of a High-Performance Management System.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective use of resources, including the development of robust recovery planning.
  • Develop shared objectives promoting a culture of collaborative working and empowering staff to achieve performance and transformational change.
  • Demonstrate excellent people management skills to inspire and motivate direct reports and wider colleagues, enabling the delivery and improvement of services.
