About the Role

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced professional to lead the operational management of Ultrasound Services across the Northern Care Alliance. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the provision of operational management, line management of Clinical Lead sonographers, and support to the Radiology Senior Management Team in developing strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational delivery of Ultrasound Services across the NCA, ensuring efficient and responsive service delivery.
  • Manage the workflow and waiting times across ultrasound services, meeting internal and wider hospital targets.
  • Develop operational policies for Ultrasound, ensuring standard processes are developed trust-wide to realise efficiencies.
  • Develop capacity plans for Ultrasound to ensure the Directorate can meet future service demands.

Person Specification
  • First degree in Clinical Specialty related to Imaging or Ultrasound.
  • Proven management/supervisory experience.
  • Track record of managing change and developing practice.
