Role Overview:The Community Care Worker will offer emotional and social support to families experiencing difficulties. You will work closely with children, parents, and carers to connect them with relevant resources and services.
- Provide individualized support to families based on their unique needs.
- Promote healthy child development, effective parenting, and strong relationships.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
- Facilitate family access to community resources.
- Offer expert guidance on parenting skills, child behavior, and emotional well-being.
- Intervene in crises as needed.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and families in a support role in the UK.
- Enhanced adult and child DBS registration.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
- Willingness to travel for home visits and community outreach.
£30,000 - £37,000 per annum.
