Job Title: Children Care Assistant - Complex Needs Specialist
Company Overview: Independent Community Care Management Limited is a leading provider of community care services, dedicated to delivering high-quality support to individuals with complex needs. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Salary: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour, plus a welcome bonus of £500 after completing 100 hours in this role.
Location: Milton Keynes and Bletchley areas.

What We Do:
We provide specialist care and support to individuals with complex needs, including those with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and other conditions. Our experienced team works closely with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.
Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Children's Complex Care Assistant. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to a child with West syndrome, which requires administration of medication via peg feed, management of seizures, personal care, and moving and handling. The role involves developing a strong relationship with the child and their family, working collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing direct care and support to the child, including administration of medication, managing seizures, and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Developing and maintaining a strong relationship with the child and their family, working collaboratively to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the child's complex needs.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous experience in childcare or complex care, with a background in epilepsy and peg feeding.A passion for delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, with a commitment to providing safe and effective care at all times.Benefits:
