Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Complex Care Assistant to join our team at Independent Community Care Management Limited.

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and develop your expertise in caring for children with complex needs.

You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.

We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs.

Every day will be different, and you'll never know what challenges you're about to face next.

One thing you can be sure of though, is that you'll be making your clients' days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

As a Children's Complex Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to children with complex needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Providing education and training to families and caregivers on complex care needs
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
