Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservations Agent to join our team at 11 Cadogan Gardens, a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of Chelsea, London. As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability of Room Sales and Food and Beverage Bookings through the maintenance of high standards and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Knowledge: To be confident in having full product knowledge of 11 Cadogan Gardens, including all properties, rooms, food and beverage, spa, and special events.
  • Revenue Maximization: To recognize which hotel the guest is booking for and be able to upsell both properties in order to secure the sale.
  • Ownership and Accountability: To be responsible and take ownership for all reservations, including rooms, food and beverage, spa, and special events.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: To show teamwork and flexibility and liaise with the team at 11 Cadogan Gardens on a daily basis for guest requests and daily correspondence checks.
  • Enquiry Response: To take ownership and ensure all enquiries taken are responded to on the day they are received.
  • Knowledge of Systems: To be confident in having a thorough knowledge of all the Hotel's computer systems so as to ensure that all records and booking details are correct at all times.
  • Record Keeping: To take ownership in ensuring that all computerized and paper records are stored or filed appropriately.
  • Standards of Performance: To be passionate and confident in understanding the standards of performance set out in the Mystery Guest Report for the property, and to adhere to them at all times.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: To be intuitive and passionate in maximizing room revenue by up-selling at all times.
  • Budget Management: To know budgets for the hotel in order to meet targets set and upselling at all times.
  • Hotel Knowledge: To take pride in being fully conversant with the hotel and all of its facilities and functions so as to be able to describe and sell them to guests.

  • Confident Product Knowledge: To be confident in having full product knowledge of 11 Cadogan Gardens.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: To have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: To be able to work effectively as part of a team and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: To have strong problem-solving skills and be able to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: To have a high level of attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records and booking details.
