Strategically located in near proximity to the shoppingmeccas of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Marylebone Village, the 4* Deluxe Mandeville Hotel (a Preferred Hotel), is now seeking talents to join our vibrant and dynamic Reservations Team.

As Reservations Agent yourkey responsibilitieswill include:

  • Creating reservations and input via both email and phone in accordance with our brand standards, while demonstrating excellent product knowledge.
  • Answer all incoming calls within 3 rings, with a positive greeting and conducting calls to our brand standards, in a prompt and effective manner.
  • Utilization of Opera system to input enquiry details for bookings, and extensions, and chase quotations to convert to meet team targets.
  • Understanding the client and guests needs, and upsell where possible, by displaying a positive and professional attitude, to increase direct bookings.
  • Daily reservation and pre-arrival checks to ensure accuracy of pricing and ensure all information and data in the PMS is accurate and updated.
  • Adapt to our strategic pricing and yield management techniques, to aid optimizing room rates and drive revenue growth across the portfolio.
  • Accurate and timely responses to guests, clients and agents in line with our brand standards.
  • Support with group reservation handling in the future, from the initial stage of enquiry, and handover all information to Reservations Manager.
  • Management of rooms timeline, which involves controlling inventory and availability to ensure maximum availability and sell through.
  • Strong knowledge of our product; rooms, features, amenities, rates and cancellation terms.
  • Completing other projects when and if required within the Reservations Manager.
  • Effectively communicate with reception department concerning special request booking or last-minute charges.
  • To ensure that all bookers are aware of the hotel policy concerning credit and release times

As Reservation Agent, theessential skillsrequired:

Having a strong understanding of Opera system

Experience in managing both individuals and groups enquiries

As the hotels level of business varies considerably, there is a need for flexibility in attitude, approach and working hours.

Possess a good command of the English language (spoken and written), excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, customer service orientated, computer literate.

Excellent communication & organization skills

High attention to details

Must have a positive, can-do attitude with strong interpersonal skills.

Team Player

Be enthusiastic to deliver outstanding levels of guest and agent service.

Must be able to multi-task and have a high level of attention to detail.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
