Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pediatric Dietitian to join our team at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Community Dietitian for Children, you will work with children from 0-19 years and their families/carers, providing specialist care and support in a community setting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient-centered programs of care to a specialist level, ensuring practice within your sphere of competence and knowledge.
  • Work with children who are enterally fed, managing a caseload and providing support in clinics, schools, or at home via telephone, virtually, or face-to-face.
  • Support children with feeding difficulties and nutritional issues, including food intolerances, faltering growth, and fussy eating.
  • Liaise with wider teams, including social services, education, safeguarding, and other healthcare professionals.
