About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a Specialist Dietitian, you will play a key role in providing expert nutritional advice and support to patients with head and neck cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist nutritional assessment and advice to patients requiring nutritional support, particularly enteral nutrition.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated dietetic care and support.
  • Develop and implement effective nutrition plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide education and training on nutrition and dietetics.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a high-quality dietetic service.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Dietitian with:

  • BSc(Hons) Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent experience.
  • Attendance on relevant specialist accredited post-graduate courses.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of dietary analysis programmes and enteral nutrition.
