Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian Specialist to join our team at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Dietitian Specialist in Mental Health, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical dietetic services to our patients and contributing to the development of our dietetic team.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the work of the Healthy Living Team in providing, maintaining, and developing a clinical dietetic service within the Leeds Care Group of LYPFT.
- Plan, justify, and be responsible for the delivery of specialized dietary advice to service users and their families/carers.
- Plan, manage, and prioritize your clinical workload to ensure maximum efficiency in all areas.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver nutrition/dietetic training for professional and support staff.
- Work in liaison with dietetic, medical, nursing, allied health professional, clerical, and other relevant staff.
- Participate in dietetic student training.
- Ensure safe practice at all times through the recognition and appreciation of clinical governance.
- Maintain accurate and appropriate clinical records and statistical information as required, in accordance with professional standards.
- Maintain clear links with your profession's structures and your profession's lead within the trust. Support the profession's development and modernization and the adherence to your profession's standards and codes of practice.
- BSc Hons or postgraduate diploma in dietetics.
- HCPC registered.
- Experience and/or knowledge of the role of dietetics in mental health services.
- Experience and/or knowledge of working as a Dietitian in a community setting.
- Hold a valid UK driver's license and have access to your own vehicle.
