About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our Community Learning Disabilities Team at the Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work as part of a well-established service, striving to improve the health and well-being of service users with Learning Disabilities across Leeds.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of service users with a range of dietetic needs, including weight management, diabetes, nutrition support, and enteral feeding.
  • Work closely with a range of health and social care partners, including the private and voluntary sectors, and adult social care.
  • Deliver training and education sessions for service users, carers, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, managerial supervision, and performance review/PDP with line manager.
  • Act as a peer supervisor in contracted clinical supervision.
  • Work in close liaison with the multi-disciplinary team, members, and specific service area.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
  • Extensive post-registration experience in dietetics.
  • Experience of caseload management.
  • Interest in working with people with a Learning Disability.
  • Evidence of a range of knowledge and skill in dietetics.
