About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our team at the Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Dietitian Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical dietetic services to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized dietary advice to service users and their families/carers
  • Plan, justify and be responsible for the delivery of clinical dietetic services
  • Work in liaison with dietetic, medical, nursing, allied health professional, clerical and other relevant staff
  • Participate in dietetic student training
  • Ensure safe practice at all times through the recognition and appreciation of clinical governance

Requirements

  • BSc Hons or postgraduate diploma in dietetics
  • HCPC registered
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the role of dietetics in mental health services
  • Experience and/or knowledge of working as a Dietitian in a community setting
