We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Dietitian to join our team at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Specialist Nutritionist, you will work with children from 0-19 years and their families/carers, providing expert care and support to those with complex nutritional needs.
Main Responsibilities- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient-centered programs of care to a specialist level, ensuring practice within your sphere of competence and knowledge.
- Work with children who are enterally fed, managing a caseload and providing continuity of care across various settings, including respite and foster care.
- Support children with feeding difficulties and nutritional issues, including food intolerances, faltering growth, and fussy eating.
- Liaise with wider teams, including social services, education, safeguarding, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
