About the Role

Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Community Dietitian to join our team. As a specialist in paediatric care, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient-centred programmes of care for children from 0-19 years and their families/carers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with children who are enterally fed and require support in clinics, schools, or at home.
  • Manage a caseload of children with feeding difficulties and nutritional issues, including food intolerances and faltering growth.
  • Collaborate with paediatricians, social services, education, safeguarding, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans to support children and their families.

Requirements

  • Qualified dietitian with experience in paediatric care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of current research and best practices in paediatric dietetics.
