At Sterling Cross Ltd, we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Specialist to join our thriving logistics team in Selby, North Yorkshire. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in maximising business potential by building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for managing accounts, handling freight quotations, and driving new sales opportunities.

The role involves generating and calculating accurate freight quotations and tender documents for a variety of services, drafting and sending professional sales correspondence, and following up with clients to maximise conversion rates. You will manage the complete sales process from initial enquiry to final closure.

We are looking for a results-oriented, sales-focused individual with a proven track record of success in sales or customer service. You should have experience in key account management, with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships. A good administrative background with excellent numerical and IT skills is essential.

The salary for this role is £24,000 - £25,000 base, plus commission and pension benefits. Full training will be provided for those without freight forwarding experience.
