About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team in Selby, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position with immediate effect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to identify new business opportunities and increase revenue.
  • Freight Quotations: Generate and calculate accurate freight quotations and tender documents to meet customer needs.
  • Sales Correspondence: Draft and send professional sales correspondence to clients, ensuring timely follow-up calls to maximize conversion rates.
  • Sales Process: Manage the sales process from initial contact to closure, ensuring seamless communication with internal teams.
Requirements
  • Sales or Customer Service Experience: Proven track record in sales or customer service, with a strong understanding of account management principles.
  • Freight Forwarding or Export Sales Experience: Ideal but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Key Account Management: Strong ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
