Sales Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team in Selby, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position with immediate effect.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to identify new business opportunities and increase revenue.
- Freight Quotations: Generate and calculate accurate freight quotations and tender documents to meet customer needs.
- Sales Correspondence: Draft and send professional sales correspondence to clients, ensuring timely follow-up calls to maximize conversion rates.
- Sales Process: Manage the sales process from initial contact to closure, ensuring seamless communication with internal teams.
- Sales or Customer Service Experience: Proven track record in sales or customer service, with a strong understanding of account management principles.
- Freight Forwarding or Export Sales Experience: Ideal but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Key Account Management: Strong ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

What We Offer- Annual Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 (with commission expected to reach £4,000 annually)
