Functional Assessor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Assessor to join our team at Reactive Recruitment. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in helping the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) make informed decisions about health and care.

About the Role

As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of individuals to determine their functional capacity
  • Using your clinical knowledge to make recommendations to the DWP
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One year post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
  • Fully registered with NMC, HCPC, or relevant body with a valid PIN
  • Excellent observational, communication, and IT skills
  • Valid driving licence or transport to the nearest assessment centre
  • Successful completion of government baseline personnel security vetting
