Functional Assessor Opportunity

About the Role

As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of individuals who have been referred to the DWP. You will use your clinical knowledge and expertise to gather information and make recommendations that will inform the DWP's decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals referred to the DWP
  • Use clinical knowledge and expertise to gather information and make recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and comprehensive assessments
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • One year post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
  • Fully registered with the relevant professional body (e.g. NMC, HCPC)
  • Excellent observational, communication, and IT skills
  • Valid driving licence or transport to the nearest assessment centre
  • Successful completion of government baseline personnel security vetting
