Centre Administrator

The Centre Administrator is a vital member of the office team, supporting the Centre Manager and Night Duty Manager with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of a Young Learner Centre. This role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a passion for summer school life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Centre Manager with creating and sharing a weekly rota to ensure all shifts are covered and team members have at least one full day off per week.
  • Producing a weekly bedding list for the BSC team, planning room allocation, and welcoming groups on arrival.
  • Organising registration, meal planning, and ensuring safety and welfare assistance to students.
  • Responding to enquiries from the BSC team, students, Group Leaders, and Agents, maintaining smooth communication channels.
  • Managing the centre email inbox and phone, delivering a fully effective check-in/out service, and running weekly reports.

Additional Duties:
  • Supporting the Academic team with completing academic administration, running student testing, levelling, and placement, and timetabling classes.
  • Collaborating with the Activity and Welfare Managers to ensure the smooth running of social programmes, ensuring student safety and wellbeing.
  • Working with the activities team to plan excursions and organising groups and materials.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with multinationality students, high-level computer literacy, and excellent organisational skills.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure, enthusiastic for summer school life, and hold a valid DBS clearance.

Salary Range: £556-£700 per week (dependent on qualifications, experience, and centre size). Benefits: All accommodation and board are provided on a residential basis. Working hours may be unsociable due to evening activities, night duty, and student arrivals/departures. Full product knowledge training and ongoing support will be provided.
