As an Operational Team Leader at Hilton Foods, you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence across our production lines. You will be responsible for supporting the Shift Manager/Production Manager in ensuring all shift goals are delivered safely and efficiently, and for implementing and improving procedures and processes to achieve the highest standards of work. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the daily production function of the line/team
  • Ensuring all information relating to your production line is communicated appropriately to the team and/or Production Manager
  • Supporting the Production Manager in the implementation and improvement of procedures and processes
  • Positive motivation of colleagues and assisting in progressing the team's development needs through cross-training and continuous assessment of requirements
  • Monitoring staff performance and escalation of any poor/underperformance
