About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a strong background in environmental compliance and risk management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental management systems (EMS) in line with ISO 14001 standards.

Main Responsibilities
  1. EMS Development: Develop, implement, and maintain EMS in accordance with ISO 14001 standards, ensuring that all environmental policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant.
  2. Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential environmental risks associated with project activities, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster collaborative relationships with regulatory bodies, local communities, and other stakeholders to address environmental concerns and promote sustainable practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in environmental compliance and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of UK environmental laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
