About the Role:

This exciting position involves monitoring and observing construction workers on secure sites to prevent unauthorized surveillance and ensure compliance with ICD-705 regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Implementing physical, personnel, technical, administrative, and procedural security measures as required by ICD-705 and the Construction Security Plan (CSP).
  • Ensuring compliance with ICD/ICS 705 requirements and advising the Site Security Manager (SSM) accordingly.
  • Performing construction security administrative functions and surveillance operations.
  • Documenting security infractions and notifying the SSM.
  • Providing expertise on construction and technical surveillance.
  • Maintaining records of all workers used on the project and submitting them to the SSM.
  • Compiling CST documentation records for review and approval by the SSM monthly.
  • Monitoring foreign national construction workers and personnel on the Secure Construction Site (SCS) at all times.
  • Documenting construction activities on the SCS, including SWAs and other construction work.
  • Performing in-depth inspections of construction materials, tools, and equipment using specialized equipment like X-ray machines.
  • Identifying anomalies and variances in finished construction work against official project plans and ICD/ICS requirements.
  • Performing access control functions, including personnel and bag searches, to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Closing and opening procedures of the SCS each day as directed by the SSM.
Requirements:
  • 40-hour CST Certification course within the last 5 years.
  • 30-hour OSHA Safety Course or ability to complete it within 30 days of hire.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ICD-705 and applicable SCIF/SAPF standards.
  • Two years of recent experience working as a CST on a Chapter 4 ICD-705 project.
  • Current UK NATO work Visa or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrination.
Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience.
