Job Description:

Norfolk and Waveney NHS Talking Therapies is a respected service that values its employees. We are looking for a skilled Mental Health Practitioner Trainee to join our team.

As a trainee, you will provide CBT to individuals with common mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD. You will also be expected to undertake a PG Diploma in High Intensity CBT at the University of East Anglia.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients who require evidence-based interventions for common mental health issues
  • Develop your skills in high-intensity CBT
  • Contribute to the development of the service's quality improvements

Requirements:

  • Hold a BABCP-recognised core profession or prepare a Knowledge, Skills, Attitude (KSA) entry route portfolio prior to interview
  • Have an undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • Meet the KSA standards, which include having at least 4 years of relevant mental health-related work experience and formal/informal training
