Senior Mental Health Professional
Essex County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Professional to join their dynamic and supportive Approved Mental Health Service (AMHP) team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health assessments, working collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure a joined-up approach.
As a Senior Mental Health Professional, you will have a comprehensive understanding of current legislation, regulations, and guidance, as well as experience of mentoring and supporting colleagues.
You will be passionate about delivering excellent patient care and have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.

As a Senior Mental Health Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality mental health assessments and interventions

- Mentoring and supporting colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge
- Contributing to the development of policies and procedures to ensure best practice
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A comprehensive understanding of current legislation, regulations, and guidance
- Experience of mentoring and supporting colleagues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults
