Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at a leading healthcare provider in the Chelmsford, Essex area.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care to individuals with mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, and stress.

The ideal candidate will have a current active NMC Pin and be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a high standard of care to patients with mental illness and personality disorder
  • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
  • Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • At a more senior level, the successful candidate will also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
  • Patient centric & commitment to delivering high quality care

  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexibility and a strong "can do" attitude

The successful candidate will receive an excellent annual salary of £36,176 - £38,596 per annum DOE. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
