Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Hanwha Vision Europe Ltd in Chertsey, Surrey, UK. This role will involve installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and other equipment, ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable operation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in 1st line call logging and support for technical issues, with exposure to ITIL best practice. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of end-user workstations, laptop computers, and other equipment
  • Providing 1st line call logging and support for technical issues
  • Collaborating with team members to resolve complex technical problems
  • Troubleshooting technical issues using a calm and methodical approach
  • Prioritizing and executing tasks efficiently in high-pressure environments

Requirements:
  • Higher diploma or equivalent in Computing and IT
  • 1st Line call logging and support experience (desirable)
  • Exposure to ITIL best practice (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
